National Learning Event, Safe Learning Model Intervention

National Learning Event, Safe Learning Model Intervention, 6th March 2020

The national learning event took place on 6th March 2020, 18 months into implementation and was opened and attended by Dr Moinina David Sengah, Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education.

Concern alongside UCD introduced the Safe Learning Model and its learnings. The event was an opportunity to hold a constructive discussion on the strategies and outcomes of the study which can inform the continuing work of Concern Worldwide. Following the event, Concern contributed to the drafting of a radical school education policy for the Government of Sierra Leone.
